The following picture and verse was donated by Bruce Boehner of West LaHave. The picture is of Captain Pettersen (note the different spelling from the log) and his family. According to the records, he arrived here on December 10, 1911 and his ship was frozen in, until February of 1912. During his stay here he, spent his time with the Boehner family in West LaHave. The note or verse was in the Boehner guest book.
